Hi, I’m Kristal!

I was a school teacher struggling with an undiagnosed autoimmune disease

I was feeling very unseen, unheard, and dismissed by the medical system.

Which took a huge toll on my mental health.

I was in my early 30’s and wondered, “Can I live like this for the rest of my life?”

And the answer was “NO, I deserve better”.

So I took matters into my own hands. And to be honest, it wasn’t easy because I had to do it all alone.

But when my chronic fatigue, brain fog, and achy joints were finally gone, I vowed to share my experience and knowledge with other women so they could finally feel like themselves again, too.

Now, I am happier and healthier than I’ve ever been.

And I want the same for you too.

I’ve made it my mission to help women reclaim their health & vitality.

I have a vision of a world where every woman is happy, healthy and living to her fullest potential.

I know what it’s like to feel stuck in a cycle of fatigue, brain fog, cravings, frustration and overwhelm.

You’ve struggled long enough and it’s time we change that.

That’s why I’m here to help you RISE into your most vibrant mind, body & spirit.

Why working with women is my passion

I know what it’s like to feel unheard, unsupported, overwhelmed and exhausted.

Women are so often taught to put everyone else first, to push through, and to ignore their own needs. And I too lived that way for far too long unfortunately.

And when a woman understands how to care for her whole self — mind, body + spirit — she unlocks the radiance and vitality she’s been searching for all along.

That’s why helping women rise into their most vibrant mind, body, and spirit is truly fulfilling work and I am so grateful that this is where life has led me.

There are three guiding principles that helped me change my life and they shape my work, my offerings and the way I choose to guide and support women:

Education gives you the knowledge you need to understand your body and how it actually works, because knowledge truly is power. No more guessing or relying on one-size-fits-all advice that was never designed for you.

Empowerment means you become the expert of your own body. I’m not here to tell you what to do. I’m here to help you trust yourself, make aligned choices, and feel confident in your skin.

Embodiment is where everything clicks. This is about living what you learn and integrating it into your daily life in a way that feels real, sustainable, and true to you. This is how change becomes lasting.

My Approach

My Certifications

It is interesting where life leads us and initially, my studies began as a way for me to learn how I could help myself heal from the dis-ease that had settled into my body.

But the more I learned and the more it helped me, the more it became my passion and desire to learn more and share that knowledge with others.

I am always learning because I want to be the go-to expert in women’s health and help as many women as I can.

  • I have always loved teaching and learning. So I naturally merged my passion of dance and started teaching ballet to children in my community at the age of 14. I continued with that while studying to be a teacher in college and university and got my Bachelor of Education in 2008. I was a teacher for 12 years before joining the Ministry of Education to develop curriculum and assessment tools. My teaching experience has helped me become a great Auntie (in my opinion!) and also understand how people learn. All of this experience is really the foundation to all the resources and teachings I offer.

  • While I was in the thick of my undiagnosed autoimmune disease, something led me to a yoga teacher training. I honestly feel like it was my intuition leading me toward a more holistic view of how the mind, body and spirit are interconnected. So in 2017 I got certified with 200 hours of training and loved it so much that I continued on with an additional 300 hours, because it was THAT amazing. This was the beginning of my healing journey.

  • The next step in my healing journey was understanding that food could be medicine. So in 2021, I took 2 courses (one with Dr. Will Bulsciewicz and another with Cornell University) to better understand how nutrition can impact our health and wellbeing. It was also the year that I decided instead of spending money on medication, I invested in a top-of-the-line Vitamix. It was honestly one of the best investments I’ve ever made. I highly recommend.

  • I already had a TON of knowledge on holistic health, but we live in a world where credentials are important. At least for me, this is what I felt like I needed to feel secure and credible enough to start working with women. This is the same year I started my business and started taking on clients. I can now issue insurance receipts as a Naturotherapist through the AQTN.

  • Part of what held me back in my own healing was following recommendations that had been studied on men and then marketed to women! Like, no wonder women are doing all the “right” things but still feeling so unwell… because we are not small men and our hormnes are VERY different than theirs. So these 3 certifications were really about getting to know on a deep level what women and their hormones need to be happy and healthy.

Knowledge is power but putting that knowledge into action is the real power.
